educational trip

I went for my first ever fishing experience!
Hahaha, it was simply put, an educational trip.
Met Lionel and SamA in the morning.
Hoho, Mr Punctual Lionel Heng was late for 40 full minutes!
Tt's an experience, isn't it?
Anyway, shopped for some stuffs in Vivomart and made our way to Labrador Park.
Oh ya, the bus tt was supposed to bring us to Labrador Park does not operate on WEEKDAYS.
Wth?! Which bus doesn't operate on weekdays.
That bus. 408 if I'm not wrong?

So...learned abit of fishing stuffs from Ang.
Lionel taught me how to toss.
And let the fishing begin!

Sam bought a jig.
Hahaha, it's supposedly used to catch small little fishes?
So SamA caught one.
Then Lionel caught two! In one go.
And yes! I caught one!
And then suddenly, we had loads of fishes.
But all small, little, silver fishes.

Feeling quite contented, we decided to start cooking.
We used the wax can to start a fire, used the erm...I don't know what is tt called but some kind of tray to put the noodles and sausages in. The wind was strong so...starting the fire was kinda hard.
But we managed! Soon, all of us were having a piping hot outdoor noodle meal + sausages.
HAHA.

Sam's father came. With his friend Tony.
Tt's when we started catching BIG fishes.
Like wah, big.
There's alot of swordfish-like fishes swimming on the surface of the water.
So Sam's father said those fishes loves prawns.
Prawn as bait, swordfish-like fishes caught!
Haha. Lionel was so scared when Sam reeled the fish in tt he squatted down and covered his head! HAHAHA.
Then, when we were about to pack up and go, suddenly Lionel felt a pull.

Lionel : Where got so lucky, no fish one lar.
Me : Pull it up lar, see got or not.
So he pulled...
YUP, NO FISH.
BUT...AN EEL!
Hahaha.
Kay, so gave the swordfish-like fish to an irritating woman, and the eel?
Returned to the sea.
And left the place.
Went Vivo with Lionel, while Sam went home with his dad.
Kay, a very nice day!

Attended the last service of 2008.

I don't know why, but today's preaching was so good tt I didn't even feel sleepy.
It's all about FORGIVING.
So nice, I'm glad I went.

Hey.
Back after 5 torturous days in Taiwan.
Seriously, what's so nice about tt place?
I have no idea.
The whole 5 days I am dying to come back to S'pore.
Okay, maybe not tt bad.
But...nothing much, and way too boring.

Even Hong Kong's better than this. Really.

The food was good.
The people there were unexpectedly more friendly than I thought.

Yeah, in around 13 hours time, I'll be leaving for Taiwan.
Not really looking forward to it, though.

boring post, for bored people

Okay, I think I'm falling sick.
Haha, hope not.
Just went out with Jiheon, Andrea, Gina and Lingyi.
Lingyi went off after awhile, though.
Just shopped around, ate.
Saw Jiajun, Marcus, Weilong, Leon and Eddie.
Hahaha, congrats to them winning their first match.
The team tt they were supposed to play against MIA.
And according to Jj, tt team was supposed to be good.
Feeling real tired when evening approaches.
Was on the bus and I kept wanting to slp.
But I was squeezed really bad in between 2 really fat women.
Irish boarded the bus, haha, talked alittle.
Then I alighted.
This post is like, poorly documented. Hope you ppl don't mind, aiya, who cares.
Wanna read then read, don't wanna read then don't read lar. HAHA.
So, went directly to bathe, and slept directly after bathing.
Like for an hour?
Then woke up, and started using the comp.

friendly managers

The world currently lacks friendly people.
So if you happen to meet one, and tt person happens to hold a high position, then consider yourself lucky.

Me and Kim met 2!
Managers of certain restaurants.
So I consider today a pretty good day.

The first one was one we met before, but didn't really care the first time...
Hahaha.
And he actually remembers us.
He said "Eh you all came before right? Then still sign application forms for wht? Haha, got the record alr mah!"
But he's friendly.
Oh ya, he even rmbs Jinshen.

The second one was one we never met before.
But friendly like hell all the same.
Lol. Kay, so I saw a very familiar friend.
So I asked him "Guan Yan, you from River Valley right?"
Then Guan Yan replied "Felix."
HAHAHA, yay, he remembers.
I love ppl with good memories.
Anyway, the manager told us alot.
One of the best things he told us was tt they need staffs.
But the next thing he told us made me think...alot.
He said "We will get back to you in around a week's time."
Which actually means I won't be in S'pore.
Which worries me.
Cos' normally they forget.
So I hope Kim gets it and help.

So the rest of the day was spent walking around town.

Caught "Twilight".
Oh, boring.
Boring like hell.
Didn't expect it to be so bad.
Okay, haha, not THAT bad lar, but...not nice.
The book and the movie's like...worlds apart.

I just ate plain pink/white glutinous rice balls!
I've been waiting for this day for so damn long.
This morning when I arrived at my grandmother's hse, and I saw the huge plate of hand-made rice balls. I was worried the rest were gonna eat them up, finish them before I even reach home.
So I made sure I booked a bowl.
And yeah, I BOOKED IT.
Gonna have them on Sunday again, I guess.
Yeap! I'm so looking forward to the best dessert ever. Kay, only I think it's THAT nice.

Manchester United are gonna be world champions soon.
Just won Gamba Osaka 5-3.

I'm feeling drowsy.

This should not be happening, I slept for so long.

Anyway, felt tt I had nothing to do at my grandmother's hse, so decided to come back home.
It's better, at least I can blog.
At least theres...something to do.
Which is the most important thing.
Which is why I came back home.
The rest are busy skating now I guess. Hahaha, I am proud to have stayed home for 2 whole days, including today.
Okay, I did went out ytd. But other than the slippers I bought, I didn't spend at all.
Which means I will have extra money for the week.

i'll ease some of that

Alright.
I'm blogging about yesterday and today.
By ytd I actually meant Sunday.
By today I actually meant Monday, which was actually, 2 hours ago.
Hahaha, I think I'm confusing ppl.
Thought I would make it clear, so tt some ppl, who are like slower than others, can comprehend better.
But I seriously think I made things worse and sorry to those who are trying very hard to comprehend. I can definitely name a few but...I'll keep it like tt cos' I'm nice.
Kay, loads of crap coming out of me.
A ploy to make the whole post much longer than it was supposed to, I guess.

So the afternoon of sunday was spent hanging out with Andrea, Kim and Ji at church.
Nothing much. It was just some plain old preaching, some new songs, and a very very friendly guy who keeps talking.
I actually think ppl in church are funny.
Who the hell will actually ask for ur number after conversing for 5 mins?!
Well, tt really friendly guy did.
And because I'm really friendly to people I do not know, I gave him my number, switched the last 2 numbers with each other. Heh heh, pls, try to call. (:
Kay, rushed off for a CHRISTMAS PARTY.
Hey guys I'm not joking, I know it's damn early for one yet, but...since none of my family members are in Singapore during the christmas week, we have to settle for this date.

Well, got a few nice presents I guess.
Kay, I'm surprised because this yr's presents felt so...different.
I was surprised to receive anything at all from my parents.
Normally they don't give anything.
I was surprised with what some of my aunts gave.
It was not...like previous times.

I thought I woke up super late today.

Wow, isn't tt early?!
I have trouble sleeping early and apparently have trouble waking up late.
Is it a good thing, or not? Guess not.
So decided to go meet Gina & Weiyi. Erm, no surprise, I was earliest, but heck tt.
Went to walk around, and Dj came.
Since I didn't wanna eat Sakae with them, and Kim's coming dwn to town, decided to meet Kim.
Yeah and we walked around. Saw Aloy, said hi, and walked around.
Kay, so we went to meet the rest and watched "Bolt"!
Like hey, I give it 4/5 stars. Kinda good? I like it lar.
Oh, Sam brought a very interesting friend.
I was laughing my head off. Wth?! But he told us it was his cousin, and I gave a sigh of relief upon hearing tt.
WAHAHAHA.
Kay, so some went home and I think this is getting way too long, I'm not bothering to blog about whr we went to eat, what we did and which bus we took, what convo we had. NO. I'm gonna stop, right now. BYE.

Caught "The Day The Earth Stood Still" today.
Not as nice as it shld be.
Although I don't know how nice it shld be.
But judging by the title of the movie, very very nice.
I'll rate it 3/5!

So, went to Holland to meet Kim.
Applied for job and went to eat at some bad hawker centre which will never ever be visited by me ever again.
NEVER. Haha, expensive and they serve...shit.
Oh, I saw my clone! Omg, he looks totally like me. It was in the bus and I was like smiling and covering my mouth.
And he keeps looking over, I guess he finds me strikingly alike him too?

Haha, well, travelled to Cathay.
We actually reached at 3pm. Wow, yeah tt's very early.
The others reached at 5pm or later, when the show's suppose to start at 5pm.
Hahaha, thought we weren't gonna watch the show anymore.
But decided to watch the 7pm one. We have to pay alittle more, though.

Another fruitless day.
Okay, I won't consider it totally fruit-less.
I did get to sign ONE application form?
Yeah, if my memory doesn't fail me, just one.
But what are the chances of me getting tt particular job?

Apparently, Andrea's cafe don't employ males.
Why! Lol. Discrimination against the stronger sex, I guess.

I didn't eat, Kim ate.
I watched. Left me feeling terribly disgusted.
After she ate a few mouths, and after she mixes, the food she ate could pass for fear factor. Haha, okay, maybe not.
Dj, SamH and Gina came to meet us awhile later.
Travelled to Cine to catch "The City of Ember".
Errr. I'll rate it 3/5. Acceptable movie.
There's 2 irritating guys behind us.
Keeps giving weird remarks like, when the show screened a blackout, he'll go,
"Eh what happened! Why no light?!"
When the main characters stepped into a room filled with cans, they'll go,
"H20 cans ar?!"
Listening to their endless comments can make the movie so interesting!

How boring can someone's day be?
Especially when one is...yeah, jobless.

I spent the day walking around the hse.
Slping when I'm tired, kicking my sis when I deemed it necessary.

I think I slept my way thru most of the day.
When you have nothing to do, the most practical thing to do is to slp.

Let's say ifffff I have like 1000 bucks suddenly.

I don't even have a 100, how pathetic.
So going out will be...impossible.

And then went to Taka with aunties, cousin, and sis.

Hello!
Gosh, Singtel and Starhub's services suck!
Seriously.
I called Starhub, they told me to call Singtel.
I called Singtel, they told me to call Starhub.
Now I'm certainly changing my number.
This Friday, ppl.

Anyway, slept practically the whole day and went to meet Lingyi, Gina, Yinmun, Shihui, Yanxun, Ang and Lionel around evening.
Waited for them for an hour, haha, and saw quite alot of ppl.
As in, they were in a group.
Didn't do anything, just went to TangShui to eat and then home.
The rest went to watch movie, me and Ly didn't.
So tt's basically the entire day, spent.
